Ludo Gijs
Euroradio
took place in Calais on 7 July 2001. This year we discovered two
strange and mysterious parts of the offshore radio world: Sealand and
the REM Island.
The latter
appeared
in 1964 and became the first ever free commercial television station: TV
NOORDZEE.
Not only
was
there a television station, but also a radio station - Radio
Noordzee.
For the very first time since 1964, the entire engineering team from Radio & TV Noordzee were reunited on stage as honoured guests of Offshore Echos
