Tony Kirk was a disc jockey aboard
Radio Caroline’s ship, when it was raided
by the Dutch and British authorities.

Tony writes…
Well, it's over two plus years since Offshore Echos Magazine began serialising my account of the 1989 raid on the Radio Caroline ship Ross Revenge.
Back issues are still available, and each edition is packed full with such great memories from those unforgettable offshore radio days, not just here around the UK but from around the world.
The seven parts about the raid were from a synopsis and chapters I had prepared a matter of weeks after the raid with the intention of having a book published.
Sadly publishers shied away from accepting it with varying excuses but real reason may well have been it was too hot to publish at the time.
The events I relate are really as it happened through my eyes at the time and portrays the emotions and fears of those eventful days.

The seven back issues (OEM 198, 199, 201, 202, 203, 204 & 205)
that include the Lady in distress chapters, are available
for a special offer price of £69 (normally £84)

There’s also a further discount, if you also take out
a years subscription at the same time. (98 - normally 122)
