  CAUDEBEC : THE NEW STUDIOS  


Castle Caudebec-en-Caux
the
new studios of Radio Normandy

The transmitter is joined to studios of Caudebec by a 6km long underground cable containing several telephone lines, crossing the forest of Maulévrier.

At the front of the castle is a reception room for visitors, bar and restaurant for artists. On the first and second floors, are offices, a record library and studios. The top floor is the staff accommodatio
n.

The studios of the english programmes were situated in the premises behind the castle at the bottom of the park.

Now the Town hall. Hard to imagine that here even, these walls saw passing so much personalities, artists, singers, famous musicians of pre-war period...
