ATLANTIS - King Harris and the Atlantis boys Vogue VB277 (Belgium.1973) Sung in Flemish, the flipside is "De Boogie Woogie van Joepie".

BIG L PART 1 & 2 - Jimmy Jive Arcade 5017 (B. date unknown). Part 1 is the A side and Part 2 the B side. It is an instrumental by Jimmy Jive on drums, accompanied by Santiago Vasco on organ and is a loose jam around the "Wonderful Big L" theme. It is totally unrelated to the station, other than the tune they use.

CAROLINE - Peter Jay and the Jaywalkers Piccadilly 7N35199 (1964) The B side of Where did our love go. Written as a prospective theme for Radio Caroline, the offer was not taken up.

CAROLINE - Status Quo Vertigo 6059 085 (1973); Vertigo QUO P10 picture disc. Sometimes used as an alternate theme in the late 70's and as a promotion on Radio Caroline. The track can also be found on numerous compilation LP's and CD's including Quo's "Rocking All over the Years" CD 846 797-2 (1990).

DO YOU COME HERE OFTEN - Tornados The B side of Is that a ship I hear Columbia DB7984 (1966) The song contains a line, allegedly recorded by Tornados producer Joe Meek in a public toilet, of two gay men talking "Do you come here often?... Only when the pirate ships close down".

GEEF ONS EEN KANS - Het Noordzee Koor  Elf Provincien ELF 68.31 (NL.1973). The picture cover single Give us a chance was released during RNI's "Hou'm in de lucht" (Keep it on the air) campaign, to give the now respected organisation credibility for time on land, the flipside features "RNI jingles".

GET WELL SOON - Godley and Creme Track on LP Freeze Frame Polydor 2442166 (UK.1979) Includes the lyric "I wrote today to Radio Caroline, I need to hear your saddest reggae song".

GOODBYE CAROLINE - The One Shots  a) Instant Records INST101 (25.4.80), b) Jumbo JR6 (1981). The song was written by professional musician John Brunning and recorded by his group "The One Shots". The Instant records single was released shortly after the "Mi  Amigo" sank in 1980, the flipside is "Davy Jones Rocker". Jumbo Records bought the rights and re-issued the single, altering the beginning to include the final words of the deejays before the "Mi Amigo" sank. The re-issue featured a colour picture sleeve with the "Mi Amigo" on the front and the ships aerial still standing above the water on the back. The flipside featured "Radio Caroline jingles". The track features on the CD "Pirate Radio Jingles from the Seventies". Jumbo TJLCD002 (1992).

I LOVE YOU CAROLINE - Pathfinders Decca F12038 (1964) An acetate demo version of this  track exists, that is believed to have been recorded in the basement studio at Radio Caroline's London offices. The demo, labelled only as I Love you Caroline, and sounding like the early Beatles, has less instrumentation than the released version.
Tony Aldridge contacted us to say that “I was the drummer with this Birkenhead group when ''I Love You Caroline' was recorded.  The other members on the record were : Tom Earley (rhythm guitar, vocals) Billy May (lead guitar, vocals) Roy Brockhurst (bass, vocals) Tony Aldridge (drums) Frank Hopley (piano). There was a Glasgow band called The Pathfinders (no connection with our band). 
We recorded at Decca's London studio on 13/11/64 (released 4/12/64) produced by Mike Smith. The B side was 'Something I Can Always Do'. 
The Pathfinders in 1964 - Tom Earley, Tony Aldridge, Billy May, Roy Brockhurst and Frank Hopley. 
'I Love You Caroline', 'Something I Can Always Do', 'Don't You Believe It' were written by members Tom Earley and Billy May. The demo clip that you have, sounds to me like one of the original recording tracks but without bass and drums. 'I Love You Caroline' was written specifically to be used as the sig. tune. Our then manager Barry Lloyd, had connections with the station, but in the event The Fortunes won! But we did get plenty of air-play on Radio Caroline North. The band split up in 1966 - but all that's another story!

IK DOE WAT IK DOE - Astrid Nijgh Polydor 2050268 (NL.1973) Special version of song "Veronica weg maar ze komt weer terug" (Veronica's gone but she will return). (audio required)

IK KAN WEL HUILEN - Nico Haak en de Panielzaaiers The group specially recorded a version of this song under the title of "Adieu Veronica". (release details and audio required)

I SPY FOR THE DTI - The Moronic Surveyors  Farce records 7" single DTI 007, 12" single DTIT 007 (1985). Released during "Eurosiege 85", the Moronic Surveyors were a combination of pop groups Boys don't Cry and Sad Cafe, singers John Wilson and Paul Young, assisted by Rob Day as "the man from Whitehall" and Laserettes Erin Kelly and Liz West. The B side of the 7" single features I SPY (Instrumental), while the 12" version features the vocal and instrumental versions on the A side and I SPY FOR THE DTI (Whitehall extended dance mix) on the B side

LASER RADIO - The Communicators  Recorded and written by Laser fans Roger King and Yanni Tsamplakos, a tape of the song was played by Laser 558 shortly before the station closed down. It was intended as a single release, but Laser's close put paid to this. The track can be found on the CD Pirate Radio Jingles from the Eighties  Jumbo TJLCD003 (1992).

LASER RAP - Jazzy E The soundtrack music to the Laser 558 promo' video released just after the station started.

LES TEMPS CHANGENT - Danyel Gerard Sonopresse CH40-237 (F.1977) A French song about Caroline, the B side is "God save the Queen". The following year an English version, "Times are changing" was released, although this makes no mention of Caroline in the lyrics.

LONDON MY HOME TOWN - Chantelles Parlophone R5271 (1965) The B side to I want that Boy and a version of the Big L daily closedown theme, originally recorded by the PAMS jingle company.

MAN OF ACTION - Flying Rockers Rocker 1961 3305 (1984?) A mini 33rpm record with four tunes, which appears as part of a series of guitar bands, possibly a short compilation of previous singles.

MI AMIGO - Mi Amigo Boys  CBS 2477 (B.1974). A colour cover features all the deejays with an inset picture of the ship, the flipside features Mi Amigo jingles. Both the Mi Amigo track and jingles are included on the LP "Een Gouden Start Volume 7". CBS 53571 (N.1974).

OH MI AMIGO - Eddy Jump Records 2589 (B.1977). A tribute to Mi Amigo and the B side to the single Dans Nog een keer met mij.

OH! MY DARLING CAROLINE – Ronny Decca F21908 (1964) A tribute to Radio Caroline by a German singer, sung to the tune of Oh my Darling Clementine.

PLAYA DE ARO - Eric Marijsee Elf Provincien ELF 6998 (NL.1975). A song about the Spanish town were Radio Mi Amigo’s studios were based after the Dutch Marine Offences Act. Used in promotions, the flipside is "Johnny Boy".
