SINFUL - Mr. Bloe DJM DJS 216 (1970) The B side of Groovin' with Mr. Bloe, a number 2 hit in May 1970.  During 1971 the jocks on board the MEBO II used it for a promotion campaign "Don't drink and drive",and a few years later used for a jingle for Caroline International All Time 100 Hot Albums' in 1976.The track was also used as a theme by Marc Jacobs and Frank van der Mast.

16 TONS - Tennessee Ernie Ford Capitol 3262 (USA.1955) The intro' of this track was used by Veronica for a promo spot in 1960.

SLAUGHTER ON TENTH AVENUE - The Ventures Liberty LIB300 (1965). The track also features on the LP's Veronica and as well as CD's The Veronica Story and We Love the Pirate Stations, details as previous. Used by Radio Mi Amigo during the 70's in a promo for Pierre Deseyn's programme "Verzoekjes voor Vrije Radio" (Requests for Free Radio)

SLEIGH RIDE - Boston Pop Orchestra Used by Klaas Vaak on Radio Veronica for various promos during the Christmas period at the end of the 1960's and beginning of the 1970's, including the 1971 Christmas ball promo.

SLICK - Herb Alpert The B side of Mame A & M AMS753 (UK.1968) Used by Crispian St. John for a VOP promo "The Voice of Peace is a non-profit radio organisation."

SMOKE ON THE WATER - Deep Purple Purple PUR132 (1977) Used in a promotion for a special Caroline Roadshow on the Father Thames Floating Discotheque on October 7th 1978.

SOLDIER BOY - Kingsize Killroy (NL.1979) Part of this track was used for a Caroline jingle in 1979. (release details required)

SOLID - Ashford and Simpson Capitol CL345 (1985) In 1985, Radio Monique used part of this song for the jingle Ross Revenge, Solid as a rock.

THE SONG FROM MOULIN ROUGE - Ray Conniff Track on LP Happy Beat CBS CL1949 (US.1963) Used by Carl Conway on Caroline in 1964, to promote show featuring Ray Conniff.

SOUTH AMERICAN GETAWAY - Burt Bacharach From the soundtrack LP Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. A & M original details not known (1969) A & M Hamlet AMLP8002 (70's re-issue). Used by RNI for various promos. In 1970 Mark Wesley created a version of this track, better known as RNI's Boom tune by singing "R.. N.. I" in the brief gaps between the music. Some six years later the idea was revived by the Dutch staff of the Mi Amigo and versions with "Mi Amigo" and "Baken 16" were created.

SUMMER IN THE CITY - Loving Spoonful Stan Haag produced a promo' for a special show featuring the Loving Spoonful, presented by Klaas Vaak on Veronica in 1972. The promo also used  Did you even had to make up your mind; It’s magic and You didn’t have to be so nice.

SUMMER IS OVER - Dusty Springfield Philips BF1369 (1964) The B side of Losing You. Used by Kenny Page for a Voice of Peace jingle, as well as by Radio Veronica for jingle "Come and sail away... with Veronica today".

SWEET CAROLINE - Neil Diamond MCA MU198 (1969), UNI 55136 (USA.July 1969),  UNI UNS 531 (Feb.72) MCA106 (Aug.74) Old Gold OG9324 (Apr.83) CBS 651 2017 (Nov.87) Re-released on single and on numerous albums, the UNI 1972 version charted at no. 8 in the UK. Occasionally used as a tribute to Caroline. Originally released in the USA on , charting at no.4. Neil Diamond recently revealed the inspiration for the song - President John F Kennedy's daughter, also of course the inspiration for the name of the famous offshore radio station. The singer finally got the opportunity to tell Caroline Kennedy Schlossberg, when he performed the song via satellite at her 50th birthday party. "I've never discussed it with anybody before - intentionally," said Diamond. "I thought maybe I would tell it to Caroline when I met her some day" and explained how he'd been a "young, broke songwriter" when he saw a photo of the president's daughter in a magazine. "It was a little girl dressed to the nines in her riding gear, next to her pony," he recalled. "It was such an innocent, wonderful picture, I immediately felt there was a song in there." Years later, holed up in a hotel in Memphis, he wrote the words and music in less an hour. Mrs Kennedy Schlossberg had been delighted by the news, Diamond added "It was a No 1 record and probably is the biggest, most important song of my career,"
