IT'S ONLY LOVE / JANIE
MGM 1467. (UK. March 1969), MGM 61 626 (F.1969). Tonys' second and final chart entry that reached no. 42 on 26th March 1969, he is assisted on the A side by "The Majority", with the song that's a re-hash of the childrens nursery rhyme "Nick Nack Paddy Wack" that could well be his worst record. The French release on MGM 61 626 has "Open your eyes"  as  the  B side. A contemporary press review commented.. "Hello, what's this, Tony Blackburn doing a Barry Ryan?. This is a frantic upbeat routine with Tony belting vigorously, supported by an enveloping bustling backing, lustily chanting group and handclaps".
BLESSED ARE THE LONELY / WAIT FOR ME
  Polydor 56360. (14.11.69). The A side is one of Blackburn's best tracks, with a backing reminiscent of groups such as Love Affair and Eli Bonaparte.
IS IT ME, IS IT YOU / HAPPY  RCA2067 (March 1971).
CHOP-CHOP / IF YOU WERE A DREAM
  RCA 2109 Stereo. A British release on 20th August 1971, the A side was a Nicky Chinn and Mike Chapman composition.
PAPER SONG / MONEY DON'T MAKE A MAN
  RCA 2180. (1972). We have two copies of this disc, a promo' copy with "Paper Song" as the A side with release date of 25.2.72 printed on label, the other with "Money don't make a man" as the A side and release date of 10.3.72, both have the same catalogue number.

I'LL DO ANYTHING
  Casino Classics CC1. (1978). Released under the alias of Lenny Gamble, this cover of a Northern Soul classic was the B side of the first release on the Casino Classics label, the A side being "Little darling ( I need you)" by the Flirtations.

YES VIRGINIA THERE IS A SANTA CLAUS / LITTLE BOY LOST Go AJ11403. (UK.25.11.66) Go Records marketed and promoted by CBS. Yes Virginia there is a Santa Claus, was inspired by seasonal newspaper article. Apparently in 1897, an eight year old girl had written to a New York newspaper, asking if Santa really existed. The papers reply was regularly reprinted each Christmas and passed into history. The track was co-written by Tony Withers (Tony Windsor of Radio London).
