RADIO ENGLAND REUNION - 13th May 2006
1

Radio England started broadcasting on 3rd May 1966. Just over 40 years later, on Saturday 13th May 2006, a number of the staff got together at a re-union held at the Red Lion pub in London's Mayfair. During the re-union, organised by Grey Pierson - the son of station founder Don Pierson, there was a visit to Radio England's former office at 32 Curzon Street.

32 Curzon Street in London’s Mayfair district was
Radio England’s office in the 1960’s

32 Curzon Street is now the offices for
a financial services company

Inside 32, this boardroom was a reception area

Across the road – 17 Curzon Street was Radio London’s office
