NEW ON NEWS
A newcomer was heard presenting the breakfast show on the 24th February 1987: Paul Jackson from North Carolina; also heard reading news was another newcomer John Allen. Since Saturday 28th February 1987 Laser's address had changed slightly, it was now; Laser Hot Hits, 21st floor, 515 Madison Avenue, New York, NY 10022, United States of America.
The same day was tag day, Brandy Lee's show featured Laser tag, the game was to pass on a squeaky blue furry toy chicken found by the engineer onto another person, but one couldn't be tagged while the microphone was open. This lasted all through the show, John Anthony making many comments on air, he even locked himself in the studio next door until 18.01 when the game would be over. Brandy mentioned that eight males were on board including Captain Hughie, Danny the cook, Dave the engineer and Dennis (the bus). The previous day they'd played food throwing; new ad's heard around the end of the month were for "Soft spots" a Clacton computer and compact disc shop, Mansions home furnishings and a London hotel booking service.
Some personal descriptions were given out by Brandy Lee and John Anthony who were presenting a joint show between 14.00 and 18.00 on the 1st March; John Anthony 22 years old, John Allen very bright and well read, Brandy Lee petite and 5' 4/2" with curly brown hair Paul Jackson tall, dark with beard and moustache and rather reserved, D.L. Bogart tall, stout and wears glasses. Laser left the air at around 11.00 during very rough weather conditions.
