NEVER MORE THAN A MINUTE FROM..
There were some variations on the 6th February 1987, Brandy Lee opened at 06.00 but had to retire at 06.35 after falling foul of the weather. Andrew Turner took over until 08.00, during this time he was able to go and wake D.L. Bogart to take over at 08.00. Brandy returned between 12.00 and 15.00 saying that she was never, more than a minute from her seasick bucket. Andrew Turner presented from 15.00, followed by D.L. Bogart at 16.00 until 20.00, then continuous music until midnight close.
Sunday 8th February saw the return of John `Rock n' Roll' Anthony who began the original broadcasts from Laser Hot Hits on 1st December 1986, he took over the 18.00-22.00 evening slot although reception was not too good at this time of day and few people could have heard him.
Some new features were starting to appear and these included a tongue twister after the 08.00 news between Andrew and Brandy Lee and the return of the Laser gig guide. New adverts heard during the week were for The Trade Centre, North City autos, Sofa bed shop, MLG Cars of Chiswick, Richer Sounds hifi, American discount furniture and Now radio newsletter.
