At 18.23 an American, having read out the address for reception reports commented, "I'd ask you to send food, but I don't thing it could ever get to us". The station closed at 19.00 announcing that they'd return at 06.00 next days. In fact they were heard at 05.45 playing continuous music, they went off air some time after 16.00 and returned at 16.56, due to technical difficulties; they closed at 19.00 announcing a return at 06.00 next day.
